You can download the TP Link Tether app either from Apple Store (click here) or Google Play (click here).
Once you have downloaded the app, you will need to connect to your routers wifi on your smart device. You must be connected to the routers wifi for the app to work.
Step 1. Launch the app on your device.
Step 2. Select your router and enter the login details for the router. Note: The login details should be username - admin and the password will be your wifi password.
Step 3. On the main screen, click on Tools.
Step 4. Go to Wireless and change the Network Name and Wireless Password to your requirements. Note: The 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wifi names must be different (you can put a _5G after the 5Ghz wifi name to show that it is a 5Ghz wifi connection). Once changed all devices will need to re-log back into the new wifi settings with the new details.
